Moderate

Guided Munich Oktoberfest experience with a city tour, traditional breakfast, insider festival access, and reserved table at a tent with food, beer, and Bavarian hospitality included.

This immersive Munich Oktoberfest Experience combines Bavarian traditions, local storytelling, and a perfectly organized festival visit—created by passionate Munich locals who want to share the authentic Wiesn experience without the stress.

How Your Day Unfolds

Meet your friendly English-speaking local guide at the Fischbrunnen (Fish Fountain) on Marienplatz, where you'll receive your own handcrafted Glupperl – a traditional Bavarian keepsake personalized just for you.

Begin with a relaxed walk through Munich's beautiful Old Town as your guide brings the city to life with fascinating stories, local traditions, and insider knowledge.

Next, settle into one of Munich's traditional Bavarian taverns for a classic Weißwurst breakfast. Enjoy fresh Weißwurst, a warm pretzel, and a refreshing Weißbier while learning about Bavaria's unique food culture and the customs behind this beloved local tradition. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

After breakfast, travel together by S-Bahn to Hackerbrücke before making your way to the world-famous Oktoberfest. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the fascinating history of the festival, explain its traditions and customs, and help you understand how Oktoberfest has become the world's largest beer festival. Before entering the tent, you'll enjoy a short orientation of the festival grounds along with insider recommendations on the best beer tents, rides, food stalls, and hidden gems to explore after the tour.

Then it's time for the highlight of the day. Skip the uncertainty and head straight to your guaranteed reserved table inside one of Oktoberfest's iconic festival tents. Raise a Maß of fresh Oktoberfest beer, enjoy traditional roast chicken and a shared Bavarian starter platter, and experience the unforgettable atmosphere that has made the Wiesn one of the world's most celebrated festivals.

We've taken care of every reservation, ticket, and detail, so all you have to do is relax, enjoy the day, and experience Oktoberfest exactly as it should be—with a local by your side.

What to bring

We recommend bringing as little as possible, as you'll be walking through the city and the festival before reaching your reserved table.

    • Wear comfortable walking shoes.
    • Dress in layers. Weather in Munich during September and October can be unpredictable, and while it may feel cool outside, the festival tents can become very warm once they're full.
    • Traditional Bavarian clothing (Dirndl or Lederhosen) is always welcome, but completely optional.
    • Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. A clear photocopy or digital copy is generally sufficient.
    • We highly recommend carrying a business card from your hotel or saving your accommodation address on your phone. At the end of the day, this makes it much easier to find your way home or show the address to a taxi driver.

Most importantly—come ready to have fun and experience Oktoberfest like a local!
